This type has three main variant in portrait type:TYPE 1723 and TYPE 1724 are both made by Johann Carl Hedlinger and are quite the same except for the ornaments on the chest of King's armor that are lightly different and the shulder ribbons that are more complex in 1724 type. TYPE 1726 made by engraver Daniel Haesling. Different from Hedlinger's portraits. Again this type have the edge ring.
Interesting fact
The 1 Riksdaler coin featuring Frederick I (2nd portrait) was minted during a time of economic turmoil in Sweden. The country was facing a severe economic crisis, and the government decided to debase the currency by reducing the silver content of the Riksdaler coin. Despite this, the coin still maintained its value and remained in circulation until 1728. This fact highlights the coin's historical significance and the impact of economic policies on currency.
