In 1505 the Archduke Philip, by marrying Joanna I of Castile is king, struck the Netherlands Spanish reales order to bring numeraire for his trip to Spain.

One interesting fact about this coin is that it was minted during the reign of Philip the Handsome, who was the King of Castile and Aragon, and later became the first King of Spain.
