Interesting fact
The 1 Real 1899 coin from Guatemala made of Silver (.550) weighing 3.17 g is interesting because it was minted during a time when Guatemala was still using the Spanish colonial system, and it features the image of the Spanish king, Alfonso XIII, on one side and the Guatemalan coat of arms on the other. This coin was also one of the last silver coins minted by Guatemala before the country switched to minting coins in base metals.
