Interesting fact

One interesting fact about the 1984 Scottish Thistle Silver Proof 1 Pound coin is that it features a unique design that showcases the Scottish Thistle, a symbol of Scotland, on the reverse side of the coin. The thistle is depicted in a circular shape, surrounded by a wreath of laurel leaves, and is said to represent the strength and resilience of the Scottish people. The coin's design was created by sculptor and engraver, John M. L. Mills, and was produced in a limited quantity of 50,000 coins, making it a sought-after collector's item among numismatists.
