In 1987 the Royal Mint released the fourth and final one pound coin in the 'Royal Diadem' series. Issued individually as well as part of the 1984-1987 One Pound Collection, this 1987 design was also struck in nickel-brass and silver piedfort. Issue limit: 50,000.This Leslie Durbin reverse design was repeated one more time on a second edition in 1992 and was issued individually while also struck in nickel-brass. Issue limit: 25,000
