The Norman Sillman heraldic emblem of the 'Scottish Lion' reverse was originally introduced in 1994 with the Maklouf third portrait on the obverse.This second edition was not struck for circulation and can only be found in Brilliant Uncirculated and Proof sets, it was also issued in an individual BU pack (no sales figures). The coin was also struck in silver proof, reverse frosted silver proof and silver piedfort.
