Interesting fact
The 1 Poltura coin from Hungary, minted during the reign of Leopold I (1699-1703), was made of silver and weighed 1 gram. Despite its small weight, the coin was still considered a significant denomination in its time and was widely used in trade and commerce. In fact, the Poltura was the most widely used coin in Hungary during the 17th and 18th centuries, and its design and mintage were heavily influenced by the Austrian thaler, which was the dominant currency in the region at the time.
