Comment
This coin was found in Musi River (Sumatra/Indonesia).Some of these Johore State coins are listed in the catalog: "The Encyclopaedia of the coins of Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei 1400-1967" from Saran Singh. See page 120-126. But the conditions of the coins are in bad condition so its not possible to ID the coins!
Interesting fact
The 1 Pitis coin from the Malay peninsula (Malaysia) made of Tin weighing 1.38g is interesting because it is one of the few coins in the world that is made of tin, a relatively soft and malleable metal. Most coins are made of harder metals like copper, nickel, or zinc to ensure durability and resistance to wear and tear. The use of tin in this coin's production adds a unique touch to its design and composition, making it stand out among other coins in circulation.
