Singh (1986:216-217) date these coins to a period between AD 1770–1882. Variants exist with differing die and diameter.Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it was made of tin, which is a relatively soft and malleable metal. This made it easy to mint and shape into coins, but it also made it more susceptible to wear and tear over time. As a result, coins made of tin were often used for smaller denominations and were not meant to be used for long periods of time.
