The Rapp Motorenwerke factory, which is featured on the reverse side of the coin, was a historic aircraft engine manufacturing plant located in Munich, Germany. The factory was founded in 1913 and produced engines for various German aircraft during World War I. After the war, the factory continued to produce engines for civilian aircraft, and it remained in operation until the 1930s. Today, the site where the factory once stood is home to a residential area and a small park.
