Interesting fact

The obverse of the coin features an image of Frederick III, the Duke of Saxe-Gotha-Altenburg, who ruled from 1752 to 1761. The coin was minted during his reign, and it's interesting to note that Frederick III was known for his enlightened rule and his efforts to promote education, arts, and culture in his duchy. He was also a patron of the composer Johann Sebastian Bach, who lived and worked in Gotha during Frederick's reign.
