Under a vault supported by two columns, formed by a fine line and a string of pearls, a standing wheel with six spokes. Above the vault rises a tower with three windows and a pointed shingle roof ending in a cross; this separates the circumscribing at the vertex. On each side of the tower there is a crossbar on which a flag is fluttering. In any case, the city wall is supposed to be indicated by two small ticks, which extend to the right and left at about the height of the column capitals.

Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the 1 Pfennig - Conrad II of Rietberg ND (1270-1297) coin is that it was minted during a time of great economic and political change in the German States. The coin was issued during the reign of Conrad II of Rietberg, who was the Bishop of Osnabrück from 1270 to 1297. During this period, the Bishopric of Osnabrück was facing economic challenges due to the decline of the Hanseatic League, which had previously been a major trading power in the region. Despite these challenges, the Bishopric was able to maintain its independence and continue minting its own coins, such as the 1 Pfennig - Conrad II of Rietberg ND (1270-1297) coin. This coin is a testament to the resilience and resourcefulness of the people of the Bishopric of Osnabrück during this time of change.
