Friedrich II, the Quarrelsome, Friedrich der Streitbare was a Babenberg, duke of Austria and Styria from 1230 to 1246. He died at the battle of the Leitha against Hungary in 1246. He had no heir and was the last of the Babenberg. After his death, an unstable period called the Austrian Interregnum, ended with the occupation by the Bohemian King Ottokar II of Austria in 1251.Another example:
