Interesting fact
The Pattern 1 Peso (Pechugon style Pattern) 1866 from Chile is an extremely rare coin, with only 10 specimens known to exist. It was designed by the Chilean engraver, Pedro Pechugon, and features an image of a condor on the obverse side, and the Chilean coat of arms on the reverse side. The coin was never officially released into circulation, and its rarity has made it highly sought after by collectors.
