Interesting fact
The Pattern 1 Peso coin from Mexico, minted in 1979, features an error in its design. The eagle on the obverse (front) side of the coin has its wings spread wide, but the tips of the wings are not fully formed, giving the appearance of a "square" wing tip. This error was caused by a misaligned die during the minting process and is considered a rare variation among coin collectors.
