Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the Pattern 1 Peso - Maximiliano I (Pattern Strike) 1866 from Mexico is that it was minted during the reign of Maximilian I, who was the only monarch of the Second Mexican Empire, ruling from 1864 to 1867. This coin was part of a series of pattern coins minted during his reign, which were intended to be used as currency but were never widely circulated. The coin's design features Maximilian I's portrait on one side and the Mexican coat of arms on the other, and its silver content and weight make it a valuable collector's item for numismatists today.
