The Havana University was founded on January 5th., 1728, being oldest university at Cuba, and one of the oldest from all Americas.Has 16 faculties, 14 centers of research, and about 60,000 regular students.
Placed at Vedado, in central Havana city, has a imposing stairway, with a statue of Alma Mater on top.
