Interesting fact
The Fokker Dr.I, a triplane fighter aircraft, was introduced by Germany during World War I. It became well-known as the aircraft in which the Red Baron, Manfred von Richthofen, achieved many of his 80 victories before being shot down and killed in 1918. Interestingly, the 1994 Cuban Non-circulating coin 1 Peso (Fokker Dr.I) was made in the shape of an airplane, with the Fokker Dr.I triplane fighter aircraft depicted on one side and the Cuban coat of arms on the other. This coin's unique design and historical significance make it a fascinating collector's item for aviation enthusiasts and numismatists alike.
