Interesting fact

The 1 Peso coin from Costa Rica, minted between 1864 and 1868, has an interesting feature. Despite being made of a gold and copper alloy, the coin has a unique composition of 87.5% gold and 12.5% copper, which is different from the standard 90% gold and 10% copper composition used in many other gold coins. This makes it a distinctive and valuable collector's item for numismatists.
