Comment

Segarra de Gaià is currently called Santa Coloma de Queralt.
The municipality of Segarra de Gaià created on February 11, 1937 a first issue of coins with a value of 1 Peseta for a total amount of 5000 Pesetas. These coins, minted in incuse on brass on one side, are numbered in the central part. To highlight the inscription, it was enamelled in black.
In Standard Catalog of World Coins 1901-2000, composition is wrong, since it indicates that they are made of aluminum when they were actually minted in brass.
