The obverse reads 1980 and the reverse reads '82 but below the Ñ is a small star with the effective date on it.
The 1982 FIFA World Cup was the 12th FIFA World Cup, a quadrennial football tournament for men's senior national teams, and was played in Spain from 13 June to 11 July 1982. The tournament was won by Italy, who defeated West Germany 3–1 in the final held in the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in the capital, Madrid.
Interesting fact
The interesting fact about this coin is that it was minted to commemorate the wedding of King Juan Carlos I and Queen Sofía in 1975, and it was the first commemorative coin to be issued in Spain since the restoration of the monarchy in 1975.
