Interesting fact
The 1 Penny coin from Fiji featuring George V, minted between 1934 and 1936, has an interesting fact associated with it. Despite being a standard circulation coin, it was actually minted in error, as the Fijian penny was not intended to be made with copper-nickel. Instead, it was supposed to be minted with bronze, like other pennies from Fiji. This mistake makes the copper-nickel version a rare and unique variation in the series.
