Comment

NOTE: Rope removed between tip of bowsprit over the spritsail to foremast of circulation strikings, or Pridmore 5a Proofs

Pridmore 6 were struck in 3 separate batches, likely of 100 a piece. The letter S following GEORGIVS can clearly show variants which identify the batch of production. S over S, Triple hubbed S and S over wide S all exist clearly.

Where struck by SOHO mint as collectors items.

Interesting fact

One interesting fact about the 1793 Bermuda 1 Penny coin made of Copper is that it features a unique design element - a small image of a sailing ship, known as a "sailing ship penny," which was added to the coin's reverse side to signify Bermuda's maritime history and trade connections.
