Interesting fact
The 1 Penny coin from Gibraltar featuring Elizabeth II with a bigger bust and the Barbary Partridge design was the first coin in the British Overseas Territories to feature a new effigy of the Queen, which was introduced in 2010. This new design was created by sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley and features a more mature and regal portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, replacing the previous design that had been used since 1998.
