Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it features a unique blend of Viking and Christian influences in its design. The long cross on one side of the coin is a common feature of Viking coins, while the other side bears a hand holding a scepter, which is a symbol of royal authority often used in Christian art. This blending of styles reflects the cultural exchange and fusion that occurred during the Hiberno-Norse period in Ireland.
