Interesting fact

The 1 Penning coin was minted during the reign of King Olaf III, also known as Olaf the Peaceful, who ruled Norway from 1080 to 1095. During his reign, Olaf III focused on strengthening the Norwegian economy and promoting trade, which led to the introduction of a new coinage system that included the 1 Penning coin. The coin was made of silver and was used widely in trade and commerce throughout Norway and other parts of Europe. Today, the 1 Penning ND (1080-1095) coin is a rare and highly sought-after collector's item among numismatists.
