Comment
Second minting series of Håkon Magnusson, 1290-1295 AD.Interesting fact
The 1 Penning coin from Norway, minted during Håkon Magnusson's second minting period (1290-1295), was made of silver and features a unique design. On one side, it depicts a crowned king, believed to be Håkon Magnusson himself, while the other side features a lion passant, which is a standing lion with one paw raised. This design was a common motif in medieval Scandinavian coinage and symbolized strength and power.
