Comment
In the KM catalog, Reckem is under Austrian Netherlands.
Ernestus probably struck this type of liards in imitation of the liards of French duchies and those of Ernestus (1581-1612) and Ferdinandus (1612-1650) of Bavaria from the princely state of Liège. On this type of liard the Count of Reckheim still clearly used his own family coats of arms. The liards without a year may have all been minted in the period 1603-1620 because Ernestus still calls himself baron here. In 1620 Reckheim became a county and came (count). The year 1634 which is mentioned by de Mey and Lucas should actually have a text with COMES (count) in it.
Explanation of the weapons in the shields on the back:
1: E and gold cross on red from Lynden.
2: Black horizontal bars on gold by Gouffier (coat of arms of his wife Anne Antoinette Gouffier).
3: Red cross with 4 eagles on gold in each face of Montmorency.
4: A red lion on gold to the left of Reckheim.
5: Silver pointed windows on red of Hamal (coat of arms on his mother's side, Marie of Hamal).
