Interesting fact

The Pattern 1 Leu coin was designed by Romanian artist and engraver, Ioan Bolborea, and it features an image of a soldier holding a radio on one side, and the Romanian coat of arms on the other. The coin was minted in 2013 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Romanian Army's establishment.
