Nihil sine Deo (Nothing without God/'s will/) was the motto of the Romanian Kingdom (1878-1947) while ruled by the Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen dynasty.

Interesting fact

The coin features a portrait of King Carol I, who was the first king of Romania and ruled from 1866 until his death in 1914. He was a member of the House of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen and was chosen as king by the Romanian people after the country gained its independence from the Ottoman Empire. The coin was minted during his reign and features his image on one side, while the other side features the Romanian coat of arms.
