Silver and gold were struck by Sultan Muhammad Shamsuddeen Iskander AH 1331 . Said to be the finest struck at the Maldives mint, the two denominations of gold coins issued by Muhammad Shamsuddeen Iskander, known as the 4 Lariath were never put into circulation.

Note: as per 2023 the silver proof coin have an estimate numismatic value of MVR 15,000 - 20,000
