Comment
Type 1 of 1 Kuna trial strike series is a coin without the undulating background with the year of minting (1941) written at the bottom on the obverse.Interesting fact
The Pattern 1 Kuna coin from the Independent State of Croatia, made of brass in 1941, features an error in the inscription on the reverse side. Instead of the correct "ZAVOD ZA IZDANJE Novca I SREDSTAVA" (Institute for Currency and Securities), the inscription reads "ZAVOD ZA IZDANJE Novca I SREDSTAVA Hrvatske" (Institute for Currency and Securities of Croatia). This error makes the coin particularly valuable among collectors.
