Sigismund of Austria, Archduke of Further Austria (26 October 1427 – 4 March 1496) was a Habsburg archduke of Austria and ruler of Tirol from 1446 to 1490.Those coins were minted in Meran (see MT#34, South Tyrol, present Merano in Italy) until 1477 when the mint was transferred to Hall (e.g. MT#38). The four pointed stars are controls, the three stars indicate Méran mint. The coins minted in Hall and meran may be difficult to distinguish. The double points at the crown of the eagle are attributed to Konrad Michelfelder (1477-1482) in Hall, as the five petal rosette with two points.
