Comment
Minted for use in Tyrol, then occupied by Bavaria. With the Pressburg treaty (Bratislava, 26.12.1805) signed between Napoleon I of France and Francis II of the Holy Empire, Tyrol went to Bavaria then allied to the French. Some sources give much higher mintage for this coin (Moser / Tursky (Die Münzstätte Hall).
Interesting fact
The 1 Kreuzer coin from the Kingdom of Bavaria, issued during the occupation of Tyrol in 1806, features a unique design on its reverse side. Instead of the usual coat of arms or other national symbols, the coin bears an image of a crowned eagle holding a lightning bolt, which symbolizes the power and strength of the Bavarian army that occupied Tyrol during that time. This design was specifically chosen to commemorate the military victory and the coin was minted in limited quantities, making it a rare and valuable collector's item for numismatists today.
