Comment

Due to the immense coin production under Anton III (about 60 million Kreuzer coins in seven years) this resulted into a depletion of the value of Kreuzer coins and a decrease in minting quality of the coins. This resulted in a financial crash in the whole of southern Germany.

Interesting fact

The 1 Kreuzer coin from the County of Montfort-Peggau, minted during the reign of Anthony III (1711-1731), features an image of the county's coat of arms on one side and the ruler's name and title on the other. The coat of arms includes a depiction of a pegasus, which is a mythical horse with wings, symbolizing the county's name "Peggau." This coin was made of silver and weighs 0.53 grams, making it a valuable and collectible item for numismatists today.
