Comment
Konerirayan ruled the present day northern and central Tamilnadu. Though he is a feudatory chief of VIjayanagara empire, after the riles of Saluva dynasty, he formed an independent kingdom and ruled till 1496 AD.Multiple variations of the coin exist.
1. On the obverse, a crescent on top of the bull.
2. The sword appears on the reverse in between the letters.
Weight varies between 1.4 to 3.2 gms.
