Comment

Konerirayan ruled the present day northern and central Tamilnadu. Though he is a feudatory chief of VIjayanagara empire, after the riles of Saluva dynasty, he formed an independent kingdom and ruled till 1496 AD.

Multiple variations of the coin exist.
1. On the obverse, a crescent on top of the bull.
2. The sword appears on the reverse in between the letters.

Weight varies between 1.4 to 3.2 gms.
