Interesting fact
The 1 Jiao (Canton Martyrs) 21 coin from Fukien Province, made of silver and weighing 2.60g, was minted in 1932 to commemorate the 21st anniversary of the death of Sun Yat-sen, the founder of modern China. The coin features an image of Sun Yat-sen on the obverse and a scene of the Canton Martyrs' Memorial on the reverse. It was circulated in the Chinese provinces, including Fukien, and is considered a rare and valuable collector's item today.
