Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the Pattern 1 Heller (Silver pattern strike) 1774 from Free imperial city of Frankfurt (German States) made of Silver is that it features a unique design that was never used on any other coin. The obverse of the coin depicts a portrait of a young woman, believed to be a representation of the city of Frankfurt, surrounded by a wreath of flowers and foliage. The reverse features a stylized eagle with outstretched wings, holding a shield with the city's coat of arms. This design was created by the artist Johann Christian Bauer, who was commissioned by the city to create a new coinage system. Despite being a pattern coin, it was never adopted as an official currency, and only a few examples were struck, making it a highly sought-after collector's item among numismatists.
