Interesting fact
The 1 Heller coin from Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld features an image of Francis Josias, the reigning duke at the time, on one side, and the coat of arms of the duchy on the other. This coin was significant because it was the first time that a German state had issued a copper coin with a value of 1 Heller, which was a relatively small denomination at the time. This coin was also unique because it was issued during a time of great economic and political change in Europe, and it reflects the efforts of the duchy to modernize its economy and currency.
