Gold Pattern of KM#36 with different reverse legends (without "wahed")
Proof uncirculated and unique. This is one of the world’s rarest proof pattern coinages, known only from this example. However, it is likely that at least two examples were struck, one of which was sent by the Royal Mint in London to Saudi Arabia for royal approval, but if this is the case its whereabouts is unknown. It should be noted that although the denomination is described as a Guinea, the weight is exactly that of the gold Sovereign.
Sold for $193,800
