Interesting fact
The 1½ Guldengroschen coin from the Electorate of Saxony (Albertinian Line) features a unique design element - a small shield with the coat of arms of the House of Wettin, to which George the Bearded belonged. This shield is located on the reverse side of the coin, beneath the image of George the Bearded. This feature sets the coin apart from other coins of the same denomination and time period, and highlights the importance of the Wettin dynasty in the history of Saxony.
