Interesting fact
The coin features an image of Frederick Ulrich, the ruler of the principality at the time, on one side, and a crowned shield with the coat of arms of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel on the other. The coin was minted in 1619, during a time of great economic and political change in Europe, and it was used as a standard circulation coin in the German States. Despite its small size and relatively low value, the coin is now considered a rare and valuable collector's item, with some examples selling for thousands of dollars at auction.
