Comment

Possibly the first coin minted after the Grauman monetary reform of 1750, when the Prussian thaler standard was set to ​1⁄14 of a Cologne mark of silver, rather than ​1⁄12, as under the Leipzig standard.

Apparently the minting of this type was discontinued soon after its issue, since it turned out that it was unsuitable for circulation. The obverse wore out too quickly, rendering the coin unidentifiable,
