R.: 2 H.: 294 ÉHVII: 24City of Brassó has issued gold and garas coins in its fight against the Prince of Transylvania, Gábor Báthori betwen 1612 and 1615. Most of the coins were used for paying mercenaries. The assembly of Gyulafehérvár (Alba Iulia) in 1615 has stopped that practice.
Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the 1 Florin - Mihály Weiss, City Judge 1612 from City of Kronstadt (Hungarian States) coin is that it was made of gold, which was a rare and valuable material at the time. The use of gold in coins was often reserved for special occasions or high-denomination coins, so the fact that this coin was made of gold suggests that it may have had a special significance or been intended for a specific purpose. Additionally, the fact that it weighs 3.39g suggests that it may have been a heavier coin than other coins of its denomination, which could have made it stand out even more.
