Type 1 and Type 2 differ from the style of the 'Fen'.Interesting fact
The 1 Fen (Type 2) 22 (1933) coin from Republic of China was designed by the famous Chinese artist, Xu Beihong. He was a renowned painter and calligrapher who was known for his work in the traditional Chinese style. Xu Beihong's design for the coin features a stylized portrait of Sun Yat-sen, the first president of the Republic of China, on the obverse, and a scenic view of the Yangtze River on the reverse. This coin was minted in 1933, during the Nanjing Decade, a period of relative stability and prosperity in China following the fall of the Qing dynasty.
