Reverse
On the reverse of the coin – a stylised Dinas Zauras, also a lorry carrying it. The symbols on the reverse, including the composition of figures floating in the air, are arranged so as to convey an illusion – moving in a circle. The reduced fragment of Vilnius University from the bird’s eye view prompts the destination of the Physicists’ March – the Faculty of Philology, where they are awaited by female philologists. The composition is surrounded by the inscriptions VILNIAUS UNIVERSITETAS (VILNIUS UNIVERSITY) and FiDi 50.

The interesting fact about this coin is that it features a unique design, showcasing a stylized image of a 50-cent coin, which is the value of the coin in Lithuanian litas, before the country adopted the euro. This design was chosen to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the introduction of the litas as the national currency of Lithuania.
