Comment
The Reckeim region and castle are nowadays situatie in the Dutch province Limburg, at that time part of the Holy Roman Empire and Spanish Netherlands.
Reckeim struck duit coins imitating those of several Dutch provinces with some differences in arms and description.
In the case of this coin, Reckeim used partially the arms of the Frisian province. Differences are the uncrowned arms vs the crowned arms of Frisia and text FRI. CIR. instead of Frisia or Frisiae.
The date list is frm duiten.nl. The KM date range is much narrower.
Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the 1 Duit coin from the Lordship of Reckem is that it features a unique design element - a small shield with the coat of arms of the Lordship, which was a rare feature for coins of this time period.
