Interesting fact
The 1 Ducat coin was minted during the reign of Joseph I, who was the King of Hungary and Croatia from 1707 to 1711. The coin features an image of the king on one side and the Hungarian coat of arms on the other. What's interesting is that the coin was minted in a time of economic turmoil, as Hungary was facing a severe financial crisis due to the costs of the War of the Spanish Succession. Despite this, the coin was still made of gold, which speaks to the wealth and power of the Hungarian monarchy at the time.
