Montenuovo 1760Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the 1745 Coronation Ducat from the Free Imperial City of Frankfurt is that it was minted to commemorate the coronation of Emperor Francis I, who was crowned on April 24, 1745. The coin features an image of the emperor on one side and the Frankfurt coat of arms on the other. The coin's design was created by the artist Johann Christian Wentzinger, who was a prominent medallist and engraver of the time.
