Interesting fact
The 1 Ducat coin was used as a means of payment in Denmark and Norway during the reign of King Christian V in the late 17th century. It was made of gold and had a value of 128 skillings, which was a significant amount at the time. The coin was also used as a symbol of the king's power and wealth, and it featured an image of Christian V on one side and the Danish coat of arms on the other. Despite its value, the coin was not widely used by the general population and was mostly used for large transactions and as a store of value. Today, the 1 Ducat coin is a rare and valuable collector's item, with some examples selling for thousands of dollars at auction.
